West Nab

I have been asked by my father in law to try to find out about a house that was in Mathon called West Nab. He is tracing his family history and one of his ancestors stayed at West Nab, Mathon in the 1870s I think. It may be a guest house or something like that? I am guessing, it could be anything. Has anyone heard of West Nab or seen it on any old maps?
